Scope of Work: Task 3.2 Integrated Fractured Reservoir Discrete Fracture Model

The discrete fracture modeling approach provides a method for stochastic, quantitative integration of site characterization and reservoir data into a unified 3D discrete fracture reservoir model. In this task, the technologies developed in Tasks 1 and 2 will be implemented for applications.

Task 3.2.1 MS Windows 95 Analysis System

In this task, the data analysis systems developed in Task 2.1 will be implemented into a Microsoft Windows 95 data analysis system. This data analysis system will incorporating elements of FracMan/FracSys for Windows 3.1.

Task 3.2.2 Discrete Feature Analysis for TAGS Process

In this task, we will implement a procedure for discrete fracture modeling for TAGS processes appropriate for application at fractured reservoirs such as the Yates field.

Task 3.2.3 Software Linking

In this task, interface software will be developed to link discrete fracture generation software to reservoir applications such as ECLIPSE and THERM-DK dual porosity continuum reservoir models.
