Scope of Work: Task 4.2 Simulation of Fractured Reservoir Production

In this task, we will develop the discrete fracture modeling approach through application to Yates field data. These efforts will be limited to a small portion or limited aspects of the project area but are critical to illustrate the quantitative value of fracture network characterization. Dual porosity, dual permeability, multi-phase simulation will be used as appropriate.

Task 4.2.1 Model Implementation

In this task, site characterization and hydraulic response data from the Yates field study site will be incorporated into a numerical model for reservoir simulation.

Task 4.2.2 Reservoir Simulation

In this task, reservoir simulations will be carried out to demonstrate the application of the discrete fracture approach at the Yates field. Fracture network realizations will be tested with reservoir simulation in efforts to match observed field performance data.
